Our Story

The Dragon's Doughmain was born from a dream deep in the heart of a little girl longing to live among fairytale characters and bake all day.

Lauren has always had a creative spirit, but has struggled to find an outlet she enjoys that also pays the bills. After taking charge and baking Christmas cookies and other treats for years, she finally decided to take the plunge and try her hand at cookie decorating. There was such a wonderful response from the community that she realized it could be its own business.

The Dragon's Doughmain may be in its early days, but it intends to last a millennium.

Lauren Belk

Lauren has always had a major sweet tooth, an intense love for all things fantasy/fairytales, and the desire to be creative. She also has a passion for Costume Design, holds a degree in Film Production, and loves baking and experimenting with different cookie ideas. When not baking, she can be found in front of the TV, engrossed in movies and shows.

Almarah Belk

After retiring from an esteemed career in Communication for the U.S. Air Force and the Intelligence Community, Almarah is living the dream here in Sunset, SC! She enjoys yoga, needlework, sewing baby quilts, hiking, and supporting her family through all their shenanigans.
